BASIC INFORMATION
Name: Phantom, real name Lucien

Age: Unknown, appears similar to a real-life man in his 20's to early 30's.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Fashion: Prefers a suit and a long cloak that will flutter in dramatic fashion as he walks. He typically wears dark shades due to personal preference and due to his specific duties, so he can go undetected more easily. All of his hats and trousers have holes to accommodate his ears and tail, respectively. If he doesn't wear a hat, he always has a cowl that's loose and large enough to both cover his ears and cast his face in shadow-- basically, his head is almost never bare. He also carries his mask wherever he goes, but never puts it on.
Height: 185cm or approx. 6'0.83".
Build: Lean, with just enough muscle definition to show an active life. However, he prefers speed and using his Arts, and it shows because most of his muscle is in his legs
Hair: Dark grey, ambiguous enough to look like brown, black or silver depending on the lighting.
Eyes: Gold, with slitted pupils that expand and contract with the lighting.
Voice: JP: Ishida Akira | EN: Ben Cura | CN: Liu Zhaokun | KR: Pyo Young-jae. Personal preference goes to his EN voice due to how well it fits him-- a English accent (suppressed but slips on occasion), soft raspy voice, measured cadence and clear enunciation, and the fact that his VA is also a stage actor (and nailed Phantom's French line).
Language: Whatever the common language in Arknights is (English?), Gaulish (French), Victorian (British English). Possibly others as well.
Scent: Something metallic, books, parchment, and cat fur.
Hand dominance: Ambidextrous but favors his right.
Literacy: Can read and write well. His writing is most likely very elegant with a lot of flourish.
Triggers: Don't ask him to sing. Other than that, he doesn't get triggered by much. He's more likely to be the one triggering people.
Other: He's a master of stealth, so he moves silently and prefers going around unseen, so unintentional jumpscares are common around him. Putting him in combat situations will also prompt him to become very bloodthirsty.

Oripathy infection: A disease caused by exposure to raw Originium, an energy-emitting mineral, which currently has no cure or vaccine, only medicine to slow progress and alleviate symptoms. Contrary to popular belief, the chances of someone infecting others are almost nil (but it is hereditary), but when they die for whatever reason, their bodies will crystallize and then disintegrate into Originium dust, which will become a new source of the infection unless the corpse is incinerated. All infected will find Originium cells in their bodies, which will eventually multiply and interfere with essential internal functions-- very similar to cancer, except with crystal deposits. Some may even find crystals on their skin or bodily mutations that affect their quality of life. Phantom has a heavy concentration in his body that makes his internal organs look blurry when scanned, with crystals visible on his neck and chest. However, what's more important is his mutation.
His mutation is centered around his vocal chords-- if he sings, he'll cause listeners psychological and neural damage that becomes more difficult to reverse the longer he sings and the stronger the emotion he uses. Even the first few notes are dangerous because people can be stunned just by hearing him and thus be unable to run away or protect themselves. Right now, only the current members of the Troupe are able to withstand Phantom's voice through unknown means.
Phantom wears an infection monitor developed by Rhodes Island, standard equipment for all operators that tracks their infection rate and overall health, though his has been customized to also suppress the effects of his singing. Phantom has also mentioned that it dampens his voice itself, so he speaks softly because raising his voice takes a lot of effort.
Originium Arts & physical prowess: Originium doesn't just cause Oripathy, but is also an actual source of energy that can be converted into something akin to electricity, and even magic, called Arts. Some are more proficient in Arts than others, though they all must use an item with some Originium inside to use it-- a processed stone is preferred to reduce the risk of getting infected. Those with Oripathy may suddenly be able to wield Arts, or do so without assistive tools, but using said tools is better to avoid aggravating their infection, and in Phantom's case, he uses a pair of daggers.
Phantom has been working with Arts long before being infected, so they're separated from the effects of Oripathy, and his Arts manifest in skills that he uses in conjunction with his proficiency with stealth and daggers. He's also shown to be capable of using swords, but vastly prefers daggers because they compliment his quick combat style. It's also mentioned that Phantom recovers quickly from injury, but whether this is a physical trait or his Arts is still unknown.
Talking meta for a moment, every unit in Arknights has both a cost for being set down onto the field and a timer on when they can be returned to it after leaving-- Phantom's costs for both are incredibly low. These, along with his skills only being available when he enters combat, encourages a playstyle that involves an endless cycle of deploying him and his clone, retreating him or letting him get KO'd, and then throwing him back in again.
How will this translate into RP? He's a very sneaky dagger man who prefers to hide even when the battle is raging and takes his enemies by surprise, either with an explosion or a well-timed killing blow, and then when he gets his job done he scurries off to hide in the shadows again to recoup his strength and wait for another opportunity. If he gets knocked out, then he'll stay out for a minute or until help comes, because making him wake up after a few seconds is way too ridiculous.

Dislikes: His biggest "No" is blood because it will trigger his bloodlust, and because his blood is infectious (he has a terminal disease).
Top/bottom: Vers, leans bottom most of the time.
D/s orientation: Switch leaning sub. He's quite passive in many things, and has a very high tolerance for punishment, so he'd be a challenge for Doms.
FWB: He'll need a bit of coaxing into it because he's not quite sure about interpersonal relationships in general. Why would anyone find him attractive? That's a hurdle to clear.
Romance: If FWB is a hurdle to clear, getting him into a romance is almost a mountain.
OOC ship/dynamic preferences: My favorite with him is Shalem, but I'm down for other male castmates like SilverAsh, Stainless, Mountain, Executor... Name an adult male character (except a Durin) and I may just say yes. Otherwise, it all depends on the chemistry between characters, especiallycrosscanon. I love crosscanon ships.
